13/50 seems to be a nice trail ratio. 52 may cause the chain to rub on the chain guide.

13/50 trails 14/50 desert and dual sport.

15 minute swap

I'm doing 13/48 for trails and 14/48 for long trips/open Dez.

Same concept as above.

I may be trying the 50 in rear.

a little tech assist (but looks like there is no 2016- I assume same internals as the EXC350 in the database)  Or go into owners manual and add all the gear info in to get soem real data if you want it.

Just spent time on gearing commander great site thanks for the tip. The DRZ400 I replaced I ran 13/48 & after spending more time on gearingcommender.com it looks like gearing my 350 exc-f to 13/50 would be about the same gearing as the 400, only difference is the ktm is 50 lbs +/- lighter.  The difference between 13/50 & 14/50 seems very minimal only about 4mph+\- & rpm up 500+/- revs.

regeared my 350 exc-f to 13/50 and tried it out today in the mountains.  1st and 2nd gear are really powerful and in fact a bit much for me at this time.  The throttle response is very quick and the throttle very light compared to my drz, it almost tossed me a couple of times, once when I jumped a trench and my wrist twisted the throttle on and again in a bumpy area causing my wrist to bounce on the throttle.  The rest of the day I spent in 3rd, 4th & 5th, much easier ride.  I'm now re-gearing back to the stock front 14 tooth and keeping the 50 on the back hoping to simmer down the power band.

If that was too much maybe a 13/48 and 14/48 combo will be good for you.

Maybe, I'm hoping that the 14/50 will work cause I hate to drop another $80 on a sprocket
