latest word from SWM USA  is that these are coming to USA before the end of 16, price point is super appealing for a full boat ADV bike

refreshing because its getting closer.....the wheels of EPA/CARB turn very slowly........hope to see good news soon. They have been on the ground rolling in OZ for a year now with good reviews.

Man that's pretty, I could have 2 exhausts to dent and scratch all up.

Wish I could read Italiano:wacko:

US importer already has a single pipe on the hook and the old tooling for the Huskys is the same (FMF,ProCircuit etc).

That dual pipe is the same one that came on the Husky SM versions of these in 08-10. The engine config on these  SWMs is really/basically the Husky SM set up they all come with the CB shaft assembly installed, unlike the mistake by Husky's removal of them.

Looks like what I would expect a CZ would look like if they were still around. Semi coffin shaped tank, side cases seem similar too. You have the twin pipes (up not down though), slightly cobbley look and a unique posture. Yep 65 CZ Twin Port and the  76 Falta Replica too

What they are, are 100% redone in new color and plastic shapes late model TE250/310 (big block DOHC) and SM/TE450/510 (big block DOHC) Italian Husqvarna bikes, under the SWM label from the same production facility with the same workers building them under Shineray ownership (PRC company)

FYI, GP Motorcycles is now an SWM dealer and has years of knowledge on the base of these models. They may have a RS500R on the floor as we speak.
