Wierdrider 240 Posted December 3, 2015 Had a great day riding with Reximus today out in the Dez. 75 miles, mostly dirt. We gassed up in Plaster city, Off we rode to the Diablo drop off. We rode through Arroyo Tapiado and Reximus decided to abuse the XR in Vallecito wash. We then rode trough Canyon Sin Nombre where we came acros the first sign peeps. Up to S2 and over to an old Dolomite mine, nice views again. From there we rode through some deep sand washes back to S2 and over to get a perspective on how big those wind turbines are. Holy crap they're big. Then off to Ocatillo for a refreshment and a couple of games of pool. Where we also learned about the shooting. That's messed up. From there back to Plaster City via sand. Reximus 10 Posted December 3, 2015 I had never ridden with Jim. Wasn't sure how the ride would go. Wasn't too long before he passed me on one wheel in 5th gear and I found myself thinking of how all the old guys sure can rip. Was great to open the larger displacement bikes up in those washes.
