Dixie National Forest, Utah

Recommended Posts

The Mistress and I haven't been doing much offroading for the past couple of years so we were due for some dirt. We ended up going to Duck Creek Village in the Dixie National Forest, Utah. The attraction was the smooth dirt roads that were friendly for a novice rider that have fall color and red-rock. I would definitely recommend this for those with big bikes, novice riders or just a family outing that could go out on quads or UTV's. The forest is very offroad friendly and non-plated bikes/quads/utv's are ok on the forest roads.

We were just there last month with the RZR. Spent 5 days camped off of Mammoth Creek Road. Ton's of trails ranging from easy to black diamond. Beautiful country and as you mentioned very off road friendly.

Thx for the teaser and link. Great pics and RR. Cabin looked huge.

The cabin was fairly large with high end finishes. We had rented a smaller one but the owner made an error and double booked it so she gave us her bigger one for the price of the smaller one, score!! We turned the entire downstairs into our gear area. We have been using homeaway.com & VBRO.com to find vacation rentals for the past few years and it's worked out really well. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants someplace to stay other than camping or hotels.

Wow. Gorgeous. Just had a mini life crises about my urban dwelling life style. Get me outta here.
