Ok, I'm back from the CORE Bar 10 and ready to focus on the "Clubs invitational"......

Hope everyone has booked a room over at the AVI?......Thursday night is FREE blues night at the AVI.......try to get out there by ~7pm if you're able.....

I'll put together loops from the AVI for both Friday and Sat........I need a volunteer(s) with laptop(s) at the AVI to do GPS downloads (that way I can just ride over from my house).....

My loose thoughts are same as years past......single track Friday on NV. side of river........two track Sat on AZ. side of river with breakfast in Oatman....

We'll meet at 7am Friday and Sat morning in the AVI parking lot. (All meet times are CA. time NOT AZ. time)

I'm going to make the loop a bit shorter on Sat than in years past (eliminating Choride & Lake Mojave from Sat plan).....

~100 fuel range (though I plan on having fuel stops within a shorter distance)

Who's in?

Crawdaddy

Bagstr

Rigger

Vanjoosen

Oracle

Amgens

Havasu boys

Also have some folks coming out from the O.C. Dualies and Big Bear Trail Riders.....along with a few from Bullhead/Vegas.........thinking there may be ~30 or so riders.......which is why we're not staging from my little shack......

As many of you know, I've put out an open invitation to the SDAR brotherhood to come ride with me in Bullhead City. AZ. at least once a year for the past few years. This time I'm expanding the net to include my bothers and sisters in a couple of other clubs. I've been a member of the O.C. Dualies and The Big Bear Trail Riders since ~2002......I think Randy kicked off SDAR in 2003 or 2004? So this year it'll be a "Clubs" weekend as opposed to an SDAR weekend.

Same plan as in past years......

- Head out Thursday night 11/5 (recommend staying at the AVI casino or at a casino in Laughlin.....look for deals online)
- Ride days Friday/Sat. 11/6 & 7 (and Sunday morning if interested)
- Drive home Sunday 11/8
I picked the weekend of November 6-8 because it's a dead zone on the D37/Clubs calendars and still ~3 weeks shy of LA-B-V.
This is NOT a CORE gig. It's just my way of saying thanks to my friends in the club(s) for the friendship/support throughout the years. I have lot's of good riding areas to share with you out in the Bullhead/Laughlin area. I can set up tracks to accommodate both hard and easy riding preferences.
Here's a link to a thread with pics from a previous SDAR club appreciation weekend in 2013: http://dualsport-sd.com/forums/index.php?/topic/16895-sdar-crawdaddy-club-ride/
More details to follow as we get closer.........mark your calendars......
Teaser - Here's a pic of Mtn Man Seth out on some single track near the Mojave Road last month......

Tried, and was gently reminded that not only is MrsBowers traveling that week, the 7th is our anniversary. I could still force the issue, but.....nah.

I got one of the good wives.

I have one confirmed coming with me for Friday's ride and two for Saturday's ride. I have a few more maybes, should I cap it at 3-4 guys?

Difficulty level on Fridays ride?

Thanks for putting this together, looking forward to it.

I don't really care how many you bring.....happy to share the area with you and your buddies........just make sure one or two of you have a GPS because I probably won't be riding with you......

Friday will be the more difficult day of the two days......track set will also have other/easier stuff to share if anyone wants to split off/ride two track....

30 riders amigo!!??

Maybe......the other two clubs I belong to, O.C.Dualies and BBTR, may account for ~15-20 riders.......also have some riders showing up that don't belong to any of the 3 Dualsport clubs (friends/ folks from past CORE rides)........so if a few more SDAR members work the hall passes we'll be there......easily

Are you "in"? Are you and John gonna saddle sore it from San Diego again? The beach camping will NOT be as cold as last time.......that's a relative certainty....

Taking the wife out to dinner and buying her flowers today! I want to do this ride bad. Pics from past years look amazing!

What's your status? If you can make it I'll move forward and get my name printed on my jersey as well so we can match.

It's still to soon after my other adventures to bring this up with the boss, but I'm thinking I might get her out to Havasu for a few days next month and I could seek away and join in on the ride. I'll let you know
