Vacman 0 Posted August 21, 2014 Seems pretty straightforward to me. I got an email with tracking immediately after filling in all my info and hitting send. It remains to be seen how it plays out, but hopefully the same people who revamped the dmv website worked on this project too.
TrophyHunter 15 Posted August 21, 2014 Yeah - they changed it. I did the print form, fill out, mail in, wait thing before. Very simple now.

Covered in Dust 162 Posted August 22, 2014 Mine is over 20 years old and they want proof that I lived at an address that I never actually lived at. Same run around as before for me so I don't think I'll ever see this money. CiD I also just found another $201.39 from my old business, again same requirements of proof from an address from 20+ years ago. I think I might give it a try again. It pays to check any city's in California you have ever lived in.
paulmbowers 236 Posted August 22, 2014 I've had both experiences- one was an insurance thing where I had to prove up my ownership in an old property- not worth to $40. But the last claim was really easy.
