Tentative "in" (was thinking of returning Sat so I have a day to chill)

I'm a strong "want to be there".......no plans yet for thanksgiving, and that sounds awesome.....couple questions to see if I fit in:

1. is this a 1000+ mile, big bike marathon type of schedule? (I'm not cut out for 300 mile days , 5 in a row ),

2. what kind of "intermediate" riding are you planning on?....like real intermediate rated trails? ..(or like Simpsons type of terrain? , which I heard about)

I wouldn't want to hold up the group.......I did fine in the tech group at Dana's ride.....

3. If there are guys whose wives won't let them go if I go.....I'll bow out....

Lurking, kid not coming home from Berkeley for Thanksgiving and a lot of vacation time to use.

Deb #3 is something I never thought of and #2 is areal concern, I wouldn't enjoy being in survival mode all day.

Looking to have an enjoyable Baja adventure not 300 mile marathon days

The intermediate approach is to not shut anyone out, this trip it would be convenient if everyone was well prepared and capable

It will be November and camping is on the itinerary aside for 1 night at MSR - This is a Baja adventure…..

the trucks will carry all your warm camping gear / chairs etc.

Kugs has a good idea-id also be totally up for driving a truck some of the time- I actually have had alot of fun driving support for various events

Contemplating the option of accommodations along the way….?

I'm a big fan of camping, though minimal daylight hours and precip considerations are starting to play a role.

Naturally the price tag would go up accordingly

I know many people do not want to lay out a big expense to ride their bikes in Baja

I will generate a plan to review both scenarios

The goal ultimately would be for all riders to just have an amazing time and experience along the way, with a traditional Baja turkey dinner and all the festivities that go along with it

Rough broad stroke itinerary would be something along the lines of

Tecate - Mikes Sky Ranch

Mikes Sky Ranch - San Quintin

San Quintin- Cataviña

Cataviña - San Felipe

San Felipe - Tecate

Sounds Great, is this a dual sport or big bike adventure?. I'm tentatively in if it is for the smaller bikes. If it works out my truck could be available for support with a ham 2m radio with a ham license.

Unfortunately this ride has been canceled

Life threw a little too much on the plate the last few months, not leaving me the time to organize correctly.

Still want to do something similar soon, without all the glam..
