Goofy Footer 539 Posted March 16, 2014 It's like a moto roller coaster ride! Hey Bikeslut, what do you think about opening a park like this?
bikeslut 1 Posted March 16, 2014 Those jumps remind me of the jumps we made in the 70's...piece of plywood there, some reinforcing 2x4s here, throw some nails in that thing and see of it holds http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oYdps2cQkic
PastaPilot 17 Posted March 16, 2014 Did you measure each others jumps in "sidewalk blocks"?
bikeslut 1 Posted March 16, 2014 We actually used chalk...or, we would go to the YMCA where they had a bmx track, and stack truck tires for measuring height. SO surprised I survived. My first bicycle was a Royce Union- broke my neck before second grade running in to a wall Fork eventually snapped after jumping a big stack of truck tires (goofy- that's not me in the video link)

My first bicycle was a Royce Union- broke my neck before second grade running in to a wall Fork eventually snapped after jumping a big stack of truck tires (goofy- that's not me in the video link) We used chalk, sometimes sticks or driveway gravel, but lots of time it was "Dang you jumped 3 blocks". I had a Royce too that I broke the handlebars, tacoed the rims and bent the crank (not at the same time) from jumping so much. My next was a GT Pro Performer with mag wheels.
