SICVIC 0 Posted March 1, 2014 So this thing does not support a satellite view then? Only gives you known trail/road options?? Am I on track here? If so, what other ways are there to route for Garmins for areas that do not have mapped trails. Example would be if I wanted to make a track of Corral doing the Fire Road but then cut across Ranger. You can use the satellite view on Google Maps, but I don't think it will snap to roads or trails unless you "get directions." Frustrating. tvscum 43 Posted March 6, 2014 I guess the OLD Google maps will allow you to draw a line that snaps to roads. I just found this out. Then you can export as KML. Advantage is you can use satellite view to manually draw lines that don't follow roads. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
