Joliet 0 Posted October 12, 2007 I ride it over speed bumps and it shuts off. That is just an added safety feature. It is probably the kickstand safety switch. I disconnected the one on my DRZ as soon as I got it. There are certain times when it would be disasterous for the engine to die just because you hit a bump, or bumped the kickstand with your heel.
