Editing posts - What's with "/ >" at the end of emotic

Recommended Posts

Whenever I edit a post with emoticons I need to trim the "/>" off the end of any previously placed emoticons in the thread or they'll appear in the edited posting? Not unique to IE......same thing happens with Google Chrome....

This is a new anomaly since the website was repaired to remove the virus a month or so ago

I noticed that too. Then I have to go in and edit again to remove them.

It's being looked into.

Still an issue......well, not really an "issue".......just a PITA :heh:

Well, this issue is being looked into....it will take some time. This is not a high priority item.

Uncle Cameron (my friend, SDAR co-founder and our site host/maintenance guy) and his wife are setting up one of the largest web server stations in Oregon and setting up wireless internet service using local towers up there, so they are extremely busy until March. He said once things calm down they'll figure out the problem.

If it was high priority, they would jump on it quickly.

Thanks for your patience !
