KTM engine case: It's what's for dinner

Recommended Posts

So what side dishes work with a KTM case? Corn? Biscuits? Mash potatoes? Coleslaw?

I thought for sure this oven heating process (to soften the aluminum for crankshaft bearing insertion) would stink up the house with fumes, but with just a nearby door open and the stove fan running, there's no lingering odor. Or, it could be that the house actually smells really bad but I slowly got used to it as the minutes ticked by.

I would love to see my wife's face if I did that at home, she would not let me try and explain, all I would hear is get out.

My first thought when Wayne said he was going to put the carcinogen-laced item in the oven was "????!!!!!" The House Frau in me could not grasp that reality. But the inner Teenage Male beat down the inner House Frau, allowing for that Kodak moment.

I can only hope the next baked dish doesn't taste vaguely of 91 octane.
