NEW Info about SDAR Supporting Memberships

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

To make it easier to do supporting memberships renewals, we'd like to do this:

If you join & first pay your voluntary membership fee of minimum $20/year between January and June of any year, then your renewal will be due mid January of the next year (that's if you want to renew).

If you first pay between July and December, it will be $10 for that first year, then renewal will be $20 due mid January of the next year.

This will make it easier to keep track of memberships and renewals.

In essence, all renewals will be due mid January.

If you joined in the last 3 months of 2011, we'll make your membership good until January 2013.

Read THIS THREAD for what perks you get with your voluntary membership fee.

Thanks for your support to help keep this website going !

Would it be possible to place, somewhere on this site, a simple button for PayPal?

I'm certain my membership has expired, but further certain I don't know how to give money to the site- it's some odd combination of PMing Randy for a payment email address, etc. I know with PayPal, one can also create recurring billing....

Paul, I will be looking into the club renewal membership sites (like the one you mentioned) in January, to make renewals and everything easier.

I researched software like this when I was on local town council. Best I found was wildapricot.com Odd name, but very powerful and would pay for itself in one year easily.

In the meantime, maybe a PayPal link?

Does not need to be fancy....

I agree Paul, With DCSportbikes what we have done is allows users to setup recurring payments. A user can easily setup an annual or monthly renewal and never think about it again.

I would have to ask the other guys what tool we use for it though.
