U.S. Team Wins 22nd FIM Motocross of Nations For the 22nd time in history and for the seventh consecutive year, the U.S. motocross team has proven itself the best in the world at the FIM Motocross of Nations. Thanks to an impressive final moto, where U.S. riders finished first and second, Ryan Dungey, Ryan Villopoto and Blake Baggett stood victorious at the 2011 FIM Motocross of Nations at Saint Jean D'Angely, France, on Sept. 18. "Once more the U.S. team has demonstrated that America is a motocross nation," said AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman. "The AMA congratulates riders Ryan Dungey, Ryan Villopoto and Blake Baggett, and team manager Roger DeCoster, for another outstanding performance against the world's best. "In addition, we want to extend our gratitude to the mechanics, support crew and others who made this victory possible," Dingman added. "Also, sponsors such as Feld Motor Sports, which promotes the Monster Energy AMA Supercross an FIM World Championship, Fox Racing, Alpinestars and the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center were integral to our success.
