Cheff 0 Posted May 24, 2004 We left for Corral Canyon late Friday evening. Set up camp and went to bed early, we wanted to be well rested for the next day. Got up at 6am and started getting ready for our days ride. We first did the fire road loop around the OHV Area to get warmed up. We usually ride at sea lvl so the bike were running a little rich at 5k. It was a great day not to hot, not to cold, just right. Second ride was Tombstone, it is a black diamond trail and quite challenging. My new Michelin Baja tires made short work of the trail. My buddy riding a CRF450F was amassed I was able to get my XR650L up the rocky inclines. My bike is a mountain goat, a big fat one but a goat non the less. Third ride was a mix between Gunslinger, Bronco Flats, and Wrangler trails which are all mix intermediate to black diamond. Again the Big Red Pig did great climbing everything with no hesitation. Corral Canyon is a great place to ride and have fun, try it sometime.
