Hey, Im going to be out at Ocotillo wells this weekend with some people who ride 4 wheelers so Im looking to get away from them at some point for a ride saturday night or sunday mourning, maybe Ride to Borrego springs for lunch or a loop around the park let me know. I ride at a medium clip, and will be camping on the back side of blow sand near the boundary line. Im leaving tonight friday jan 6th at 8pm and will check my post before I leave to set something up. -Chaz

wow- that section gets more chewed up all the time! still looks like the line is "gas it and hug the rock on the left"... that rut on the right is a case muncher Yea I was out there on Sunday and tried the right side but, i could'nt get any traction... I just dug a hole. Next time Im out there I will try the left side.

SicVic and myself met up at Pine Valley and decided to risk it and keep driving out to McCain Valley, even though the forecast said to expect 30 mph gusts. There was a nice breeze to stay cool but, we didn't feel any gusts near 30 mph..... the temp was in the mid 70's and we had the place to ourselves. I only over heated my bike once, and dumped it once (@ 5mph) so over all it was a great ride.

Corral canyon? Pine Valley? Mccain Valley? The cold is going around, and the desert will be very hot this weekend, so there are plenty of excuses. Looking to get in a ride during the week because, my desert trip this weekend was shot down over a wine tasting trip in Temecula. Prefer Mccain or Pine valley because, I have never ridden either place. want to start ride between 9-10 am, open to all experience levels, let me know....... FRIDAY THE 11TH, PINE VALLEY EXIT, 10AM, SEE YOU THERE ~~~the one rider that committed to riding tomorrow just de-committed so the ride is canceled unless I get a solid commitment by someone else before i go to bed which is about 11-ish....... cheers.

Yea this was my first time out there, the Tierra del sol put on a great event, I will definitely be out there next year for the 50th annual.

Had a great time at the Truckhaven hill safari, great looking jeeps, brand new off-road course with beautiful weather, it cant get any better. Took a break and rode out to Salton Sea.

I have to work now but have a good ride and stay dry.
