Due to rain on Saturday April 17, we moved the Dual Sport adventure Northern Baja ride to Sunday April 18. Some of us rode 44 paved miles to Rancho Santa Veronica, a nice campground with a restaurant, cantina, pool, and geared for the off-roader. a great place to stop. One rider drove there with his bike in tow. From there we rode miles and miles of open dirt roads. We had a number of water crossings, some single track and got up to 5600 ft. Then we rode for miles in a pine forest. With my GPS coordinates and a map we made a big loop travelling 120+ mile in the dirt. Mike and I rode an additional 115 paved miles for a true DS adventure ride in and out of Northern Baja. We all had a great time and are planning another ride in the short future.
