    whats your line of work?

I also work at United Rentals in Lakeside with Mike as a field service mechanic. I help our customers get high. Raised on three wheelers and quads, made the switch three years ago. Bobby

    spark arrestor

Anyone have a spark arrestor for a FMF TI4 that I could borrow for this weekend? I ordered one online and now they are saying that they are out of stock. Having a little trouble finding one locally and need it for Big Bear this weekend. Name your favorite beer or price for a three day rental. Thank You, Bobby
  4. Mike, Greg, and I (Bobby) would really like for all of the sdar members to swing by the cabin that we are renting. Bring your own beer and have a good time. We would like to meet all of the members here so that we won't feel weird showing up to other rides. Just pm mike (hoss314) and let us know if you are showing up. Thanks, Bobby EDIT: I was told that this post may have sounded a little limp wristed, so are there any single ladies on sdar? hahahahaha
  5. Is anyone changing the jetting on thier bikes for this ride? It's a long drive to have my bike run poorly the whole ride.
  6. Thanks for everyone that planned and set up for this event, I had great time. The dust made it tough at times, so sorry for going slow. Five of us split off from the group and had a good ride up to La Jolla Indian Reservation and back down through Mesa Grande. The CHP informed me that they did not approve of my bike on my way home though. The short list included the following: No left side mirror Unable to use gps as speedo License plate mounted wrong No license plate light Rear turn signals mounted too close together No horn Covers installed on lights But he was cool and let me off with a warning.... Bobby
  7. Just looking for some advise on how much to ask for it. DMV woes

When I converted my 98 XR 400 from green sticker to a plate they told me that I had to have an odometer installed on the bike. I gave them a statement of facts saying that the bike was manufactured without one and suddenly all was well. It took me seven trips to three different dmvs to finally get my plate. If I ever had to do it again I would register in AZ. A friend has his plated in AZ and has never had a problem. (The fees are also reasonable in AZ) Bobby

Bobby has a new baby (XRNSD)

I would have loved to go on the X-Plane tour, but my wife said that a car seat doesn't belong on the back of a XR. I stayed home and got some stuff done around the house and practiced not sleeping for days at a time. The little guy came out at 8.5 lbs and 21" long and healthy. My wife alreat told me a could get a kitchen pass for the Desert Dash so expect to see me there. I've got a bunch of new toys, riding gear, and parts for the bike that really need to be used....... Bobby
  10. Is there any way that someone could load the route that you guys took onto google earth? I would like to do this ride within a couple of weeks. Thank You, Bobby
