And this was the garage.

The guy I got it from was right in Carlsbad, he got the Cub from a estate sell but he's not into the small bikes. This was his living room.

Wow, never thought under the visor. Are just trying to keep it from hooking up on things?

First multi night camp out.
socalhodaka posted a topic in 1 to 3 Day Ride Write-Ups, Stories and Photos
My friend Gus on my old KLR and myself on the GS 800 left on Friday for our first multi night camping. We left from Packers out through Borrego for Joshua Tree. All the interior camp sites were full so stayed at Cottonwood, on Saturday we made our way through the park stopping at the overlook. After this we make our way to Thomas Mountian, this was a really fun road on the 800. Great views and cool place to camp. of course stop at the Pie Company on the way back to Ramona. Learn a lot in 3 days on what worked for camping and what needs upgrading -

A little more info could save you money with the DRZ experts here. At what time does this problem happen? At full throttle? Does the bike start fine? Can you sit at a stand still and rev the engine up and down? -
Has anyone had there bike radiator repaired? Where? Thanks Kelly

socalhodaka replied to Oracle's topic in Equipment & Technical Forum
That happen to me, I use a chisel. Tapping it in the direction to loose with a little heat, maybe the tapping part helped break it loose. Mine came out ok then. -
I was just out 4x4 in all around the mud caves using a map from past Desert Dash. When to the drop off, Palm spring. I think all this area would be great for novice ride.
