That's cool Terry that you rode a Hodaka. Everyone is probably getting tired of my Hodaka stuff, I really like the vintage scene and the history with the Hodaka Story. So check this out http://www.dualsport-sd.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4541 Kelly

Socalhodaka has great deals on gear
socalhodaka replied to Andy's topic in Plugs for MEMBER BUSINESSES
I work at D&D Cycle in San Marcos. Its a independent Harley Service and Custom shop. We also do Metric Cruisers, Have a dyno, tire machine and balance, weld stuff like that. Since they don't pay me much and I like offroad they let me get some of the vendors that carry this stuff like Parts Unlimted, Western Power Sports, Van Leeuwen, Southern, and MTA. So I can get tires, gear, tools, lube ect. Just not OEM parts. We also stock Amsoil. Just PM me. Thanks Kelly -
After selling my 02 DRZ and 1964 Datsun NL320 Sport Truck I was able to catch up on a couple bills. The Datsun was rare and the last time I drove it was 7 years ago and just happened to see a ad on Craigslist here in San Diego from someone looking for my truck. Ok time for new bike. Sorry for the large photos. I look forward to meeting more of you on some rides. Kelly $2500 plus this Rickman less the engine, I had already took it out and is in another bike

Hey Brent, thanks for answering some of my questions about the KTM's a couple weeks ago. I know you would of like to see me on a new 08 and that would of been awesome and I was close to dropping the hammer on one, then the fact I was able to utilize my bait for trade helped out. I can't wait to ride it up to your shop and say hello.

I will always have vintage in my blood. My collection is starting to pay off when I need it, I more then doubled my money on that Rickman and will still sell the guy the proper motor that goes in that bike when he is ready for it. No need to keep this one that I used in trade When I still have this one. You can see the top of the old Datsun back on the left.

Thanks you guys for the support. We are in talks with the Gem to house a Hodaka museum, so the raffle money goes to good causes that is motorcycle history. Just think how cool it would be tiddling on that Hodaka Wombat

I would love to plan a tiddler ride. I have done one before something like, Start at RB Community Park, Over the freeway to Highland Valley rd, Dye Rd thur the south side of Ramona, on to San Vicente to Country Estates, out to the east side of Ramona to Highway 67/main St, Lunch in Ramona then west on 67 back to Highland Valley and back to RB. About 47 miles. I will be off on a Mexico Cruise tomorrow with the wife and kids over spring break next week and when I get back I will post a ride like this in the proper area for any takers. 200cc and under or depending on what the response is we can flex that. Sound like fun. Kelly

Any way to do a poll on who has a Plated tiddler of 200cc or less?
-
I agree and I'm having a blast competing on a small bore 100cc on the MX track. Now that I have sold my DRZ 400 I want to pull my 1969 Honda CT 90 out of storage. I have also had some great rides on the TW 200, everything is just at a different pace but still very fun. When I use to do the Quad thing I had a Banshee that would rip your arms off, but the challenge out riding my girls 200cc Blaster in the big dunes is what I had the most fun doing. Tiddler rides are a blast, and someday I want to put one together here.

I have a new paddle you can have, just come be and pick it up. I live in Rancho Penasquitos. If you are going to ride for a couple days bring a extra air filter to swap out. On the two stroke we would rich up the main jet 1 or 2, I don't know it its the same with a 4 stroke. I will PM with my number if you want the tire. Kelly

I just want to say thank you to all of you that left messages on the forum and with PM's with the kind words of support. A celebration of my niece's life will be tomorrow. Thank You. Kelly

Maintenance Day / Retirement get together at my casa 4 April 2009

Aaron, I will not be able to attend. My family suffer a big loss, a senseless loss of life. It was my niece Alexandria McKeirnan Drake that was killed Sunday on Hyw 67 at the hand of a irresponsible driver of a Jaguar. I know we have a few here that drive Hyw 67, watch your speed a be careful. You all enjoy the day and I'll look forward to the next one. Thanks Kelly McKeirnan -
Ok the DRZ is gone and my plan in to dust off the old 2stroke Suzuki. See it way back in the corner on the left. Move over a couple Super Rats Here it is. 1989 RMX 250.I think I might put the stock tank back on, notice a couple broke spokes in the rear and the chain looks like it needs to be changed. The gas was pretty funky but it started. I hope to be on the trails soon. Ok not all the bikes are mine, I share storage with a friend. If anyone wants a project I can probably find one for you.

The 02 520 is a great bike, second only to the '03 ; ) I thought all the motors from 2000 to 07 are the same RFS. I don't have a KTM but my buddy just had his 03 525 rebuilt at the KTM shop in Ramona and had really good things to say about them. -
We will be camping with a group from our church at Agua Caliente in a couple weeks. Is there any trails to ride in that area? Should I bring my bike. Kelly

I have a plated DRZ
