I agree. I am very poor at trip planning. Often times the planets align and I just go. I will work on putting together a ride more people can attend...if they really want. Thanks guys!!

At the last minute we decided to head out to the desert and do some riding. The rain didn't let up until we got to the staging area. We encountered rain off and on the whole day. We actually had to modify our intended route when the mud got too deep in certain places. Dust free and the weather made it more of an adventure!

Is the AZ plate paper work already done or were you flying under the radar on a 'dirt bike'? Congrats again on a sweet new bike!!

I agree!! We ended up rolling out there. Lots of rain Sunday night. Somebody heard us on the radios Sat but we couldn't quite figure out what camp to circle back to the next day. Brought a few bikes.. Couple drops on Sunday morning.. Storm moving in..

I am convinced. I think the tread lightly applies to all vehicles on all trails. This trail is for 2 wheels. One look at the trail and a quadder- -would keep going.

We finally made the trek up to the mountains near Lake Izza Bella. We rode everything from paved highway- for sight seeing- to some of the most challenging single track and everything in between. I feel we barely scratched the surface of the offerings up there. I will be returning to continue the adventure soon enough! A bit of snow made things interesting in the higher elevations.

We are driving back Tues morning.

Tomorrow is questionable but sun/mon look good according to these guys and these guys.

Pasta, We are gonna be up there visiting a friend. We are driving up Sat morning. Not sure of the game plan yet but lets try to hook up Sunday for at least one ride. The weather looks like it might be a bit cold.
