This is a wheel set for a DRZ400. It is an extra set I have barely used. The tires are Shinko 705s and in good shape and I installed new tubes last summer. Size 44 rear sprocket. Rim locks. And the front wheel is a fancy “Pro Wheel” brand. Bearings are good. Will fit DR650, DR350, DRZ250. Might need different spacers or bearings but will work on all of them. Text 858-337-6590

This bike has had two visits to the DSM8 shop for welding enhancements. The footpeg welds described above. And DSM8 fabbed an extra bracket for the engine guard to make it more secure.

Hahahah. But a milk crate full of brake pads, oil filters and other parts is in the garage for the new owner.

This is a 2004 first gen KLR with all the mods and farkles needed for a reliable and affordable long distance, BDR, commuter, and/or trail bike. 17,500 miles and located in San Diego. Clean title and registered till March. I bought this bike pretty close to stock 2 years ago and prepped it for the SoCal back country discovery route and dual sporting in Death Valley. After the trip I fixed and improved anything I broke. All the dumb stuff that one breaks on a KLR has been taken care of like the weak foot peg bolts, the rear brake bracket, headlight fuse, carb vent etc. I did mods to address the limitations like the weak brakes and suspension. I added steel brake lines and the large front rotor. It stops well now. The suspension has been improved and does not dive when braking. The tires are shinko 804/805s, very fancy for a KLR. It has heated grips, auxiliary lights and additional brake lights. It is hard to make a KLR less ugly but I gave her a plastidip paint job that is removable if you want to go back to the OG red plastic. The bike has served me well from Baja to the Sierras. I have a larger and a smaller bike in the quiver now and this middle child is not getting the love it deserves. If you think this KLR is too well sorted for a KLR it has one authentically patched up turn signal stalk appropriately held together with zip ties and duct tape. Overall, this bike is ready for a long ride. $3,000 obo Mods Eagle Mike Doohickey and Torsion Spring Magnetic oil drain plug safety switches fixed T-mod for carb vent line (google it) Horn upgraded 7 gallon Clark tank with manual fuel petcock New fuel line and inline filter LED taillight Auxiliary Flashing LED taillights 320mm front brake rotor replacement upgrade LED Headlight 16 tooth front sprocket, 15 tooth stock included Heated grips USB accessory port and voltage gauge 15 Amp headlight fuse Metal aftermarket skid plate Eagle Mike rear brake bracket Choke lever relocation included Larger footpegs Stronger Footpeg bolts and brackets welded on Subframe bolt upgrade LED auxiliary lights on JNS bracket Front Fender upgrade Custom paint and pinstripe. I got fancy 805s on the KLR right now. I might put these on my spare wheels for the DRZ. I love the dsports and I’m stoked rmatv has another budget tire option. -
