Stopped over to see Eric at 8Ball in Esco yesterday. Let’s see how they do.

They are the RallZ. Very aggressive tire. Loud and buzzy on the highway. Today I really got on the TrailMax Mission on the back streets and highway burning off the factory coating. Sticky on the tarmac and loose gravel. Turn is seems quick but that’s compared to the flattened out MotoZ. What a difference in noise and comfort. So far pretty happy. Next test gravel roads. Edit: for reference they are on my triumph tiger 800xcx.

Found a few reviews online and on this site. Looking forward to testing them out. The previous owner had a set of motoz tractionators. Too aggressive for my riding habits. Kept them in case I plan a hardcore off road trip.

Small bike only ride, I like it. Let’s get it on the calendar.

Nice bike. I was looking at the TW but ultimately ended up with a used XT250. These little bikes are like mules; slow and steady. I hope to get out on some of these fire roads when the temps and weather gets a little better. Ride on!

Yeah, they should arrive tomorrow Dave. I hope I can make the 18th too. Still can’t get over the fact that I can buy a pair of riding pants for less that an average pair of jeans. If these are half decent, I’m going to get a pair in every color.

Looks like she’s wearing standard A2 issued gear. Hahah. I wear those same overalls when I ride.

Just ordered a HWK jacket pant set from Amazon. Figured I’d give it a try. Why so cheap? Am I going to get what I paid for?

On Friday my Tiger broke down in Vista at the corner of Hacienda and S. Melrose just under the 78. Ended up being a dead battery. As I was buttoning it up on the sidewalk, A fellow adventure rider stopped to check in on me. Many other motorcyclist rode by but only one stopped. If that was you and you are on this forum, thank you! It was an orange adventure bike, may be a KTM? Sorry I had to bug out of there so quickly. My wife was precariously parked half over the curb and half on the busy road. Definitely a sketchy situation.

Hey Dave @DSM8. I’ve got a cargo trailer I built out, Although it’s never done. @J5iveand I have been chatting. If you guys get another bike maintenance day again, I can bring it by for you to check out.6x12 built for off road. another option is to come see it this weekend if you are out and about. A friend and I will be out camping at Fish creek in Anza. No moto this weekend but we will be out shooting at the range just across Split Mountain Rd. let me know. -A2

Sorry I missed this one. I was camping though on the top of black mountain with my Jeep.so glad I slept in the bed under a soft camper shell. It rained hard and the wind hit up to 60mph gusts Saturday night.

The key to a great night sleep at camp is your sleep number. My sleep number is 6 beers. 😆

Not sure where we are camping or if fires will be allowed but maybe pre-dropping some hidden firewood if it’s remote. I like to bike (mountain bikes) pack also so I’m no stranger to ultra light for packing. Water too.

Oh nice, the big (for me) bike is a tiger 800.
