Arizona to allow CCW without a permit

Interesting... I kinda like it. The criminals are already doing it so why can't we?? Thieves would think twice if they thought everyone was packing some heat.... I'm all for it and would like to be able to carry concealed in CA too. Not interested in arguing with anyone or trying to prove that things would be better if everyone carried, just my opinion here.

    My tire ate

I have the stock taillight lens with 2 led strips underneath. I also use the remote garmin gps antenna and it is tucked in there too. It's been like that for a few years and haven't had a problem with it. The plate is just bolted to the top of the back fender to the rear of the taillight. I have some good pics but need to resize them to post em.

Anywhere to LEGALLY ride on the beach?

    pismo beach CA and mexico!
  11. Hello everyone, I just wanted to put this out there just in case by some miracle my tool belt surfaces. It was stolen from my truck in the parking lot of North County House of Motorcycles on Wed afternoon 3/31/10. It has all kinds of tools inside and isn't worth much to anyone who doesn't ride bikes so if anyone finds it I'd be happy to pay a reward for it's return. Inside there are some specific things that would ID it as mine including a red 27mm tire iron/axle wrench, a pair of knipix cobra channel locks and a little red LED flashlite. It also has a blue camera case attatched to it on the right side that had some goggle wipes inside it. There were a few other things stolen from my truck too including a power inverter and a bluetooth but really I just want my tool belt back. Please let me know if you guys see it or hear anything.

New way to transport your Sport Bike

Wow, someone needs a pickup bad.
  14. Hi Craig, I was wondering about this ride, is it all offroad? or mostly?
  15. Well I finally joined a online forum dedicated to dual sport riding, I've always been a "don't believe what you read on the internet kind of guy but after riding with some members I new it was time to get involved online. I have worked in the motorcycle industry for about 10 years and look forward to sharing info and stories about riding with all of you. I live in San Marcos and am 27 years old, I love to ride my XR for hours and hours but also have a crf450 for the occasional track day. I can't wait to find some new people to ride with as my current riding buddies are too busy too ride as often as I'd like to ride. Let the fun begin! Anyone like night riding?
  16. Here's 2 other picture I was trying to attach before, one is Anthony picking up the CRF230 ready to carry on and the other is his dad and me in the backgroud setting up the camera for that great group photo. These 2 plus one of thier friends flew to CA from Texas and rented the 3 bike for this ride, Crazy but it worked out ok. one of the bikes, a crf450x had tight valves and we ended up having to push start it using the good old left foot on the muffler trick (I have video to post of that). Also just wanted to say there were a few in the group that weren't in that photo in case you're wondering. Gotta go eat Dinner , I'll check back soon!
  17. Hi guys, Had a great trip to Baja last weekend that a friend of mine planned out. We went to Santo Tomas and rode dow to San Quintin and stay and the newly remodeled Desert Inn (used to be La Pinta). I had more fun then I've had in years with this unusual bunch. I must say that there really are people out there that are just meant to ride and this kid named Anthony is one of them. Pictured with his rental CRF230 he was able to complete the 260+ mile ride with no major issues. To all of you who are not sure about bringing along that new guy, sometimes the outcome is surprising! Most of this group had never been to Mexico and everyone was so well prepared thanks to constant emails prior to our trip regarding tools radios gps etc. ***Email me for a map source GPS Route from Santo Tomas to San Quintin and a waypoint file with tons of info + tracks for this route. GPS Stuff is great! I'm planning to go to this race at superstion on 9-23-07 with district 38 called the rattlesnake chase if anyone want to go there are a few of going and we could link up. I will be camping out from Friday night and the race is Sunday at 7am. heres a link http://www.amad38.com/

  20. In the last clip watch the guy in back get some in the face!
  21. Ok Done, took 1 minute to do....Everyone else please get involved, if we don't our kids may not get to ride on all these great trails that we have enjoyed! My Dad has so many stories about riding in places that are now closed that I have never ridden, do it for the children.
  22. Hey Hammer - nice snake bite on that tube. Hitting the rocks a little hard? On the BBTR ride, I got two of those - ended my day early since I only had one spare front tube (I had a spare rear, but it fared okay). I'm paranoid now when I ride up there and sacrifice a little traction with higher pressures in order to keep my tubes in tact. Any damage to the rim? I've got a nice little flat spot to show for mine... WHY NOT CARRY 2 FRONT TUBES? THEY WORK ON THE REAR IF NEEDED AND ARE SMALLER TO CARY. I ALSO CARRY A PATCH KIT, THE LAST MEXICO RIDE WE WENT ON WE HAD 3 FLAT IN THE FIRST 50 MILES AND THE GOT 3 MORE FLATS BEFORE THE END OF THE 380 MILE WEEKEND, WE HAD TO PATCH THE TUBES WE HAD OR RIDE A LONG WAYS WITH FLATS. WISH I COULD HAVE MADE THE RIDE YOU GUYS WENT ON BUT I WENT TO OCOTILLO WELLS FOR A NIGHT RIDE. WENT ABOUT 130 MILES BY 5:30AM GOOD FUN, I'LL CATCH A RIDE WITH YOU GUYS NEXT MONTH.

New XR650R Guy Joins looking for adventure in SD!

No jumping at night for me unless I really know the area, that was the first time I've riden at night in months plus I don't know that place very well so I was going around the jumps where I could see well. That was a 50 track wasn't it? I'd like to go to Ocotillo and ride from there to superstition and back tonight but I can't find anyone to go with me....... Anyone interested? I'd also be into McCain valley or Lake Morena off the 8 freeway. I'm think leave town around 4-5pm, and come back after we get tired of riding. I want to test out my 8" race light before Mex so I know which one I want to use, probably the tecate but still need to test the 8".
  24. I almost forgot, Thanks guys for inviting me along and welcoming me to this site.
  25. Here are a few pics of the aftermath on scene! This was still a fun ride, I was cruzin by myself when I came across Craig and Jon at the top of a hill, they asked if I'd like to join them and off we went. I was behind Craig when he just disappeared, it took a second for me to see what had happened but there he was in a big deep ditch. Ouch! I hope you're ok Craig, I'm sure we'll be riding again soon enough. Sorry the pics aren't better, my HID light shut off right before the photo was taken, next time I'll start my bike before trying to take a picture at night.
