I thought that was on a Sunday. If it is on Saturday I am going to try and go.

Is it just me or have there been more retirements at this stage than in past years? Or is it just that we only hear about the top names and they are the ones taking a beating this time?

Is there a campground everyone will be at Friday night?

So I haven't been to one of these before. What do I need to bring?

I am tentatively in with one of my sons.

I recently picked up a 2009 KLR 650 and am getting back into riding. It currently has Dunlop 606s on it, but they have some miles and I need to get new tires. All of my previous experience is on dirt and I am new to the dual sport/adventure riding thing, so I am looking for some suggestions and advice for the tires I based upon the type of trail riding in the area. I live in Valley Center and don't plan to do much, if any at all, freeway riding except to get to a ride. Most of my riding will be local, hopefully to get to the roads and trails. Hello Everyone, I just bought a 2009 KLR, finished my riding class and got my motorcycle license. I am hoping to get back into riding again after a 9 year break. I have been riding dirt bikes off and on since junior high and never rode street until now. My last bike I rode was an XR400, which still taunts me as it sits in the garage. I was excited to see this group since I have no clue as to where I can go riding with so many areas that seem to be off limits here in San Diego. It is a totally new experience for me since I grew up in Las Vegas and we could ride practically anywhere. I hope to have the time to go on a ride in the near future and work the kinks out. And if anyone has any suggestions for tires, it would be appreciated. I will take the question to the parts forum, but thought I would throw it out here too. Thanks Jimmy
