  1. I do most all of the D37 races in any given season so if you have any specific questions that haven't been answered yet, feel free to ask them. I am personally a member of HBMC, but as robert said above, you don't need to belong to a club. It is a very normal thing for the D37 clubs to guest pit riders that don't belong to clubs yet. Some folks use it as a way to "test out" the different clubs and see what group of people they fit in with the best. You are certainly welcome to just let me know what race you are interested in doing and you can come pit with us. The way D37 manages the races/pits it is way easier just to hook up with a club and guest pit than try to go at it alone. The club will also keep an eye out for you and make sure you get back to camp, which is another good reason to either find a club to join or to guest pit. There are at least 3 of us from San Diego that are D37 race regulars. Registration for the season opens on the 10th, so this Saturday. https://www.amadistrict37.org/series-registration.html There are two desert type options - The Desert Series and the Sprint Enduro Series. The Desert Series is basically all the desert events and includes all of the Sprint Enduros. However, the Enduro races are treated as their own series as well, so if you want to earn Enduro points, then you will have to register for that series as well. If you just want to come out and race, then registering for the Desert Series will give you the opportunity to race plenty. I don't race the GP's so I don't have much personal input on the GP series, but lots of people enjoy them. Think half motocross track and half desert race. 2. Going to head out to McCain in the morning. Get there around 8:30 or so. Feel free to join up if anyone is interested. Just let me know.

Hey guys, I am in if this is happening.
  4. Hey guys, I have to cancel the overnight. Posted up a Sunday morning ride in a new thread though. --Ben
  5. Hi all, Sunday morning ride, 11/1. Meet at Pinyon Mtn Trail head off the S2. Kickstands up at 9:00. Big desert loop. Small bikes, need a plate. --Ben
  6. Hi All, I was down by Blair Valley Sunday and I saw that there were signs that said no overnight camping, day use only up at the entrances. Anyone know what that is about?
  7. There wasn't any takers for this weekend overnight, a few said next weekend would be better. I am also open next weekend, so if there is interest, I will get something together. For Sunday morning, meet at Pinyon Mt trailhead. https://goo.gl/maps/bY3VBg8fxC4TAFiK8 Kickstands up at 9:00.
  8. Folks, I thought it would be fun to go out and do a night ride Saturday, eat some tacos, camp out in the desert and then do a Sunday morning ride. Then I thought it might be good to open it up to the SDAR crew. Saturday night will be a relatively easy ride - just some exploring. Sunday will be either easy or moderate/difficult depending on what happens. Plates required, small bikes recommended. Both rides would leave from the Blair Valley lot off of the S2, exact times TBD. If folks are interested, I can put together some details and start planning. Post up here if you are! --Ben
  9. I am in. Haven't met you before, but I will see you at 9:00.
  10. I would like to repeat everyone's comments regarding Amgems non-organization of the ride. Putting a ride like this together and taking the lead is effort for sure. Excellent job and it is appreciated. It was nice to be able to stay back and just enjoy the trip. It was cool to watch Juan's video documenting some of the trip as well. I hope he has fun exploring points further south. Shout out to Paul for the radio help. It is appreciated as well. Good group, good times. Glad I had the chance to meet everyone. Even got some kkug stickers. Hope to do more rides like this.
  11. Ok, thanks. Reservation for the 26th at motel 6 done. Sounds like a good ride.
  12. It seems as though my schedule would allow me to make this trip. Haven't made it out on any of the SDAR rides yet, but have ridden with a few of the active members on non-associated multi-day trips. I would look forward to it if you would have me.
  13. I still plan on heading out from the preserve parking lot around 8:00. Post up here if you think you want to join so I know if I should be waiting for anyone. --Ben
  14. Hi Folks, Thinking about doing a ride up in north county this Saturday. Big bikes and little bikes will be fine, but plates will be required. Probably head up the pavement to DeLuz, dirt to Tenaja and take the forest road over to Wildomar OHV, do a couple loops and see what else looks good. Any interest in joining? We can meet at the parking lot for the Santa Margarita Preserve at 8:00 and go from there. --Ben

    390 Duke Riding Club

Haha. I would make a vote for bikes < 400 cc's and include supermoto's so it can be a complete hoon fest. My buddy has a 390 and it is a complete blast.
