Hey Everyone, Friends wife wants to ride baja 11/4 thru 11/6 Thinking starting at PN to LH finishing at mikes first day Mikes to S.Q or coyote cals the second day Finishing back up at PN third day Wondering should I be concerned with possible baja 1000 activities on any of these routes? Mexadventure.com I have 5 bikes insured with them ...$150 each for the 350s and 500. I think the 990 and my 1190 are $175 each . All bikes just have liability $50,000 and 150,000 death May look at full coverage after my last adventure.

We were at Don Eddies Friday March 20 when we pulled into SQ ....all the gas stations were closed and the Mexican army were everywhere ... no check points per say but guarding places like gas stations, electrical power station ect guess town was shut down from Monday till sat am the 21. We left don eddies sat around noon pulled into SQ all gas stations were open again very lite mex army presents .... We didn't have any issues until outside Ensenada with drunk driver.

Yep riding at night was ultimately the wrong call . I keep looking st satellite phones but at this time haven't pulled the trigger partly because my in reach Has two way text communication. But can't really come up with a strong reason not to have one either. Best Jim

Talked to both kids today .... Both said they felt like they been hit by a truck . Lol Opened a claim number with AAA but don't think they will cover. Mex insurance (liability only) also notified so we will see what happens. Plan is to take a bunch of photos wash bikes and drop off at a shop to check out Thx again everyone ! Jim
