My helicopter ride last year from Ocotillo Wells to UCSD Hillcrest cost me nothing. Medicare and a supplemental policy paid the $18K bill. Getting old has some privilege's.

First date I took my wife on was 50 years ago, was at a TT race at South Bay Speedway. 48 years married today!

I am a definite possibility.

A friend tried making it to the valley floor but nearly died and had to have his (and 2 other) motorcycles airlifted out by helicopter.

That sucks.

Entry on Alta road is getting more difficult. Someone keeps putting up fences and barriers making stealth entry challenging.

Completely unedited. Saw the camera's battery beep off, so I had big hopes of getting the impact. Thanks to Darren and Tom and others whom I don't know their names. Most of my life I have ridden with family and friends. This was a different ride and it was very comforting leaning on the SDAR community for help. I have ridden and met with enough of you guys to know the character of this group. Just class. So many many thanks to everybody. Hope to see you out there in a couple of months. bob

I love to ride. Been riding 53 years and this just another setback before I get back on my bike. My regret is not getting video of my foot swinging 180 degrees below my leg. Pretty weird stuff.

Saturday 11/19/22 . Start Plaster City East. 9 am ksu. Easy pace to Ocotillo Wells with plans to do donuts in Tom's camp. Return to Plaster City by 2 pm. Route is sand with deep sand mixed in. All welcome. bob

I usually park a couple of hundred yards off Evan Hewes. A little over 1 mile east of the plant.

Out. Bike is bleeding and I need a part to fix.

I hit it earlier and was home by 4:30. The entrances on the prison side keeps getting tougher to find.

I hope to run up Otay mountain tomorrow leaving at 5 and returning a couple of hours later. Casual ride, testing out my carb settings. bob
