Great Thread Guys! Thanks! Based on recommendations, i ordered all of the recommended stuff from RR. I also opted for the Baofung, for now. If i understand all of this correctly, if i decide to switch radios later, all i need to change is the jumper? If i read this correctly, the Baofung does not work on the SDAR freq, but can be modified to?? Also, what do you all recommend for an external antenna? THanks a lot Kevin

Looks like i am out for this one. Going to get some pedaling in at SS to lose some of the post surgery LBs so i don't lose my modeling contract with Haynes. Have fun, and ride safe! On the plus side, i ordered all my comm gear, so i will help the setup done and dialed in for the next one. Enjoy

Just a really crappy Scala based SRC system i am not at all impressed with. After the big bear run last weekend, i will be looking for a setup like you guys all run soon. Just need to read that thread and decipher excactly what i need. Good point, sweep should have comms.. I fail

Good point! I ride with many different folks and some do just that. Some people just don't get the whole "Relax and enjoy the comradare" thing. Can't meet new people/friends if you are too busy chasing the proverbial trophy. Good on you Senor Bowers! If i make it i can volunteer to sweep if you'd like.

Full Throttle in Santee rebuilt my YZ450F Supermoto Race Bike motor and added some tricks last year. Thing is still running like a beast and starts first kick every single time. Also had great experience with C&D

Only complaint i have about mine is you can't zoom out very far to see an overall view of a large area of topo roads. 276c didnt have this problem, but other than that, the Montna is the dealio

I change my oil on my DIRT (and dual sports) bikes after every 2 rides regardless of mileage.. No opinion about the valves.. I'm not a KTM guru and only have about 250 miles on mine. (I truck it places)

Thanks... I sat in my buddies and it didn't fit my huge ass too well... I ordered a Kermit based on lots of "big guy" suggestions!
