You guys are all champs in my book for sticking it out even if you did not make it to the end of the ride because that is not an easy ride when you are riding pigs. Saturday night I had two coor's beers, a hamburger and half of my frys for dinner, left fishers to camp. As soon as I had camp setup I went to bed, Roy, JaJa, and Brian all said I was sawing some loud noises all night long. I was in my tent by 8:30 and did not wake up until 6am. I was one tired rider. I will put together a northern ride of KOFA soon, that hopefully will be as epic. The epic part of the ride was all of you who helped each other out when needed, that is what made it such a great ride. Until next time. I signed up for Yoga in hopes that will help my bones and mussels with this riding....... I have to boys because I am doing another Alaska ride and this one will be for the books. I am leaving the 12th of January to say goodbye to Randy and Doc. Plan to leave here at 8 or 9 Friday morning and ride to Tucson AZ Tombstone. We can camp or cheep hotel. Either way I am going to see them and wish both of them well on their journey to South America. Will do a ride on the dirt Saturday, then have dinner with both of them that night. Head home Sunday. We will be leaving my place at 8:00 to go to JAJA place in Ramona, then taking the back roads to pick up Alyeska in Borrego then the back roads to Brawley then we will enter the South side to Picacho (which is all dirt) and camp for the night. The next morning over to KOFA National Park, that will be dirt all day, then over to Red Cloud Mine Road which will also be all dirt (when I say dirt graded to moderate dirt roads, nothing challenging). Picacho will cost $10 per bike to camp, they have warm shower and water, all of us will need to fill up on water sat morn Saturday will be pirate camping Bring food for Breakfast and Dinner, (Saturday you will have the option to eat Dinner and drink at Lake Martinez) Sunday Breakfast at Cracker Barrel Yuma then home. All of this is around Yuma and Quartzsite

1150 GSA BMW, I had no problem riding on one last time and I think Diego and I did around 2000 miles of dirt.

On the 18th of January at 6:00 I will be at Stone Brew in Escondido to discuss another trip to Alaska. This time around I would like to put in a side step into it to Bella Coola on the way home. This would be a option for those who would like to do Alaska but are on a timeline, you could bail the and head home outside of Jasper on the way home. I have talked with JAJA and he and I will be working out the details to do as little of freeway driving as possible, back country roads as much as possible. This trip will consist of no reservations and as much camping as possible. You can keep the cost of this epic ride down to where every guy who has ever wanted to do this ride very affordable. When I did it with Diego we had a blast for under $3,000.00. If you are married I will make time so you can fly your wife in to visit you for the trip. I do understand if you are a working man the time it takes to do this trip, that is why I am doing Bella Coola at the end so those who have a dream of doing an epic ride other than the BDR's you can join. That part at the end will be two weeks. If you are interested in doing this or just part of it please attend, I am hoping we can get some interest , We will discuss departure dates at that time.

Before I answer this question I will need to see who all wants in and what time constraints I am working with. I know a minimum will be three weeks. But that does not mean you cannot do Bella Coola which will be 60%dirt.

We are all a go on the 12th, Since we are only going to have three days of riding because some have to be back Sunday we have decided to camp first night at Picacho, Saturday, full day at Kofa, Saturday night camp RedCloud, Sunday home after Breakfast. Do you want us to pick you up in Borrego? Les say around 9:30 or 10 Friday?
