  1. It probably took a long time to communicate from down here like a year our two if you ever made it back to port.

Remember the 60th-70th when you where 1000 miles away from home and your only connection was; Letter mail (6-8 weeks) Airmail (2weeks), or in an urgent case, Telex fax (over night)?

Hello I am replacing a starter sprag / freewheel on my KTM 950 adv 2005 . I believe a m20 bolt is needed to remove the flywheel I know some of you have /had these bikes and may have this bolt . If I could borrow or purchase said bolt that would be great . Any other wisdom on what to check would be appreciated. I have checked voltage ,the relay clicks, connections are clean and tight and the starter spins without engaging. Thanks I am in North County

Mmmm let me look in my tool box . I might have what your looking for . Hang on .

I agree with this- I had "that kind of relationship" with my 990. But the question in my mind was always: "Is this fun?" because once the heroics wear off, it really is not fun. My conclusion is, for me, if there's any kind of off-road involved, the 500 will always be more fun.

Granted- a BDR will be fun on the dirt, and not-as-fun on the pavement return. This year, I'm changing to "ADV tires" and a smaller rear sprocket in an attempt to enhance the pavement capability. I'll report in a few months.
