Me too - A few times a year he follows his son around on his 450 KTM RFS . He used to ride Desert sleds and still has used junk and tires from those days in his garage.

Rockhouse canyon sucks and is a workout. Rode it a few weeks ago. That said do not buy the pressureized can of Slime . I tried to use it on my SUV and had to punch holes in it in order to get it into my tire . And then it did not seal up my 3 inch drywall screw in my sidewall . New tire time .

You can adjust the Acell mode on a J D Tuner. I never tried that on mine . Then you can change it back when you come to regular fast trails. Cheep and easy way to go. Gearing also .

Save up for a JD tuner-- then remove the reeds and exhaust tip. If you remove any thing before tuner you are going to be super lean -- and super hot. After the mods the bike runs cooler .

New bike - after a few rides I go and tighten every spoke evenly a quarter turn or so. Loc tite shifter ,kicker,brake pedals ect. Anti-seize chain adjuster bolts . Ktm- loc tite tail lite bolts. Make shure a very good ground wire Battery to frame.
