Hi everyone --Thanks for a great weekend. Jim Robinette asked me to be his mentor because he never rode a Dual Sport Ride before. I assured him that it would be easy and just to ride his own pace. He was all prepared ,all new gear and a shiny new bike. After the first section he said that he never rode in rocks before. He does not have any at his training ground ( The Superstition's ) He was all worried that he was holding us up but he was doing good. Well that changed when he hit the ice. They don,t have any stinking ice in El Centro ( only in bags at the grocery store ) He survived -got pooped out- recovered and tackled the rest of the ride. He was bumbed out that he held us up but but it was a nice break for us . I assured him that 90 % of so called riders never tackle any thing this adventure some. Good Job Jim !!! Some pics. I don,t think you would want to wear cold weather gloves all day. I will bring both and change them. I have some extra poly glove liners that you can use if you don,t get some winter gloves in time.

[ Hey Chris --Be carefull with that GPS and that front brake hose. I had a different GPS setup and I thought it was ok, but when riding the hose was snaging my GPS.

I and Jim from El Centro will be riding togeather. Covered in Dust might also join us. A mixture of noobies and experenced riders. So two more may join us!

Hey the site has been down for a day or two. For my first ride with SDAR it was a adventure. Rode some new trails, met some new riders,had some drama,ate some garlic carrots and all made it home safe and sound. Later Ken

I know is late but I have a extra ticket for the Endurocross. ( one guy backed out ). We are renting a van ,leaving Escondido 6 AM on Sat. Hello everyone. After procrastinating for a few years I finialy signed up.I have seen some of you around and have been lurking. I have been hanging out with some ADV guys from the LA area. So I decided I need to hang out with some closer to home. I sometimes like to ride by myself. But the main thing is that I like doing is long rides and some of you do go on good ones.
