I'm in love with my bike! Ryan F9 hits in the head on the "Dealer X"... 😂 I've installed auxiliary lights myself, but I still had to take it to the dealer to "activate" that feature. Same with heated grips.

Appreciate you asking. Carbs, jets etc got sonic cleaned for 1hr on each side last weekend. Need to set/check the floats are at 4mm, put back on the TPS (Took off for cleaning) and adjust if needed. Throw them back in the bike, double check everything and hit the start button with fingers crossed i didn't mess anything up. Then Sync the carbs with my Carb Tune and throw it the rest back together. I am slow and this is very intimidating for me so i am taking my time.

I have not seen any, also of all the brands I have owned over the years, Ducati is the most like this. So with ours (wife and I both have multipastas) I just take care of the shorter service to-do's (every 9k miles), and then the service light gets cleared when I take it in for the big ones (18k miles). I do like Moto Forza service staff, and the parts counter folks are friendly so I don't mind making the haul from lakeside at all when needed. My wife is considering selling her White 950 Multi (2018), and getting a Supersport 950S, but they have such low inventory you can't do test rides or make demo bikes. This is a conundrum because I wouldn't buy without the try. So I guess they can sell us a bike whenever they can do test rides again

Is there any aftermarket deal out yet to do that? I hate stuff like this!

I just took your copy and photoshopped my name on it. Hope that will suffice!

Working closely with state law enforcement agencies in the State of California i must arvise any riders consuming alcoholic beverages while riding a motor vehicle to refrain from allowing thier blood-alcohol levels to get any higher than .08%. Its important to all of us who use it to keep these bars open so please drink and ride responsibly. lets get everyone home safe this season.

Dude I am with you 1000% because my skiing then my golf and then my riding went thru huge gains once I did that. There’s magic in having a coach watch and teach. And Padu is a classic example. He takes classes from a lot of different coaches.

Ok so here is a ride report. Black MTN was great. I saw a total of 3 vehicles. No one was at the top. You can see why it was shut down before. Looks like it got a fair amount of rain from the ruts, exposed rocks and there was a tree you can see was struck by lightning, fell over and blocked the road. It was dragged to the side now so I am assuming that was the main reason for the previous closure. My 500 EXC did great, the suspension is far from stock so slower trail riding, it’s a bit abusive. Up at the top there was no one, dead silent except the wind birds and the occasional plane. I recorded the whole ride down but everyone has seen the trail so I won’t post it. I did upload a small portion of a rock section you had to use one rock to pop the tire over a taller rock. GoPro’s do not give terrain Justice. The video they look like tiny rocks but I would say it was a 12-14 inch hop up. Again nothing to write home about but big bikes would be in for a surprise. so here are to pics and 22 sec video

Just got home. Rode from Vegas to Palm Dale on the bike (I15 traffic was amazingly fun 😡). Loaded the bike on the truck and down to San Diego. I had so much fun! I'll start to edit the video and post on a separate thread when it's ready, with the customary report. I did the easy ways. For my surprise, there were 4 Ducati Desert X's! But I claim the first DDX ever to cross the LAB2V finish line 😂 Next year I want to do the hard ways with the DDX. Call me masochist.

I didn't like the rocking either. I added a piece of square tube to the carrier. I bolted a piece of plate with angle bolted to it to the hitch side plate. Bolting (rather than welding) it added a little bit of adjustability. With no load, it slides in and out smoothly. When a bike is on the carrier, it flexes and binds the tubing between the pieces of angle. No more rocking.

^^ Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately i did not take him anywhere as it was his choice to ride this area. We did it last year and he crashed just as much and we have done a lot harder rides. He could give 2 squirts about getting hurt but this time he said it was all about what you mentioned in his "depth perception and general eye sight is not so good, neither are my reflexes or stamina". He said he is simply to old for any terrain other than asphalt. At 77 yo i see no shame in that. I told him to get a new CT125 or a TW200 but he said No.

It's the same with my 2018 Multipasta (950) I also can't reset the service warning after changing my own oil, without a dealer
