Hey all, super stoked to join the group and meet new people and ride. I am a new rider with about 1000 miles under my belt now. Finally decided staring at bikes and dreaming, but letting fear of the unknown stop me wasn't going to cut it anymore. So I bought a 2021 africa twin adventure sports and I'm looking for the adventure part. I'm in Carlsbad and looking to meet riders, gain experience, and camp off my bike. My ultimate goal is long adventures like Baja and Alaska someday. Can't wait to see you out there.

Right after the 2 day training with the West38 Moto guys, we had a 2-day ride around around Borrego Springs and Julian. The groups were divided between L1 and L2. Each group had one instructor (including our own master @Zubb) that would use the more challenging terrain as a classroom. I had an absolute blast getting to know some new trails and places, including: . Jasper Trail . Upper Grapevine Canyon . Lower Grapevine Canyon . Eagle Peak . Cedar Creek . Bolder Creek . Rodriguez Spur Truck Trail . Yaqui Wells

Shhhh now the cats out of the bag dammit! @Canopytheory I am in Escondido and we have tech days etc here on a somewhat unregular schedule. Best thing out of the box if get your suspension set with the proper sag, that's about a 20 minute job. PM me if you need help you can swing by on a weekend and we can get you sorted. We also teach how to pack motorcycles and how to watch people fix flats.

I read that this will be the fastest production dirt bike in the world. 185 hp I believe. This thing is a monster.

I recently discovered Jasper, upper and lower Grapevine. Nice sand training. I'm posting a video in a moment. I love your skydio videos on youtube. I'd love to go on a ride with you guys sometime in the future.

I have the Moose XC1 Body Armor and really like it. Comfy, cool, fits easily under shirts and jackets. Way better than wearing no armor. However, one time I took a superman dive off my bike onto the dirt in it. My lead arm (forearm, elbow) slid on the ground and the XC1 arm pad slid back up my arm and exposed it to abrasion. I got a substantial raspberry along my forearm, elbow. I wasn't expecting that kind of exposure from that armor. Built-in thumb loops or forearm straps would have prevented this. Something to consider with the XC1.

Wonder what the boys at KTM are doing - Laughing or have an eye raised with concern. Time will tell. I'd like to know how much input Eric Buell (if any) had in the design. I might be mistaken, but one iteration of a Buell come back was with the purchase of the name "Buell" and Eric Buell didn't have anything to do with the company. Is that the case here...

ya how you look at things is mportant. Sometimees it's easier to speculate. coming back from a broken bone Injury a parking lot can be level 3. As long as we are having fun that's what relay matters.
