  1. Correct, everything in the green section of the map is dirt. It's fire road and passable by normal 4x SUVs. Some areas are steep but if a stock SUV can make it... I'm hoping I can too. I've ridin the first 5 miles of it only.
  2. Looks like at least 3 of us are going this Sunday the 16th. Starting at Highway 74 and 3S04 (Blue Jay Campground)at 9a. Riding to Dos Lagos for lunch and back. About 50 miles. Let me know if you can make it. If not maybe we can do it again after Christmas.
  3. Didn't get to do this ride yet. Anyone want to go on Sunday 12/16 or anytime 22nd-23rd or 26th-30th? Looking to ride Hwy 74 in Lake Elsinore to Santiago Peak and then on to Dos Lagos for lunch, then back the same way. It's about 65 rt miles of sometimes pretty challenging fire road. Here's a picture of it on Googlemaps: Anyone want to go on a slower trail ride with me and my little 200? Scott 951-956-5610 scottchapin@ca.rr.com Lake Elsinore to Santiago Peak map.htm
  4. Please let me know when you re-plan this ride. If I can work out the date I'm in. Maybe the week between Christmas and NYE? Scott

  6. Looking to ride on the 8th or 9th from Hwy 74 to Santiago Peak. With a side trip it's about 60 rt miles of sometimes challenging fire road. Anyone want to go on a slower trail ride with me and my little 200? Scott 951-956-5610 scottchapin@ca.rr.com
  7. Here's a few more from the seat of the little 200. Scott
  8. Just realized I sent the pics to the wrong address, on their way. Great rifing with you. Scott
  9. Had a great time, great to meet you all. Scott
  10. Since I can't get there until 8a or so on Saturday morning, and will be looking for the slooowwwer group to ride with, can someone suggest a person or spot to meet up with you? And maybe direct me to the person that will have the tracks to load on to gps? Thanks. This is my first organized ride, looking forward to meeting everyone. Scott
  11. There will be day parking available right? Can't get there until Saturday morning and need a place to put my SUV for the day.
  12. I'll be doing my first organized ride with OC Duelies on the 28th. Looks like a fun ride plus they are having bikes there to test. So as long as I and my 200 are still running, I'm looking forward to joining you on the 11th. Hopefully some other pokies will be there to ride with :)I'll plan on the shorter GPS'd ride. Now I just have to figure out the Garmin 76CS GPS that arrived in the mail.
  13. Anybody else who is a pokie rider want to pair up for the ride? PM me. I think Steve is organizing a variety of rides that weekend.....some easy, some more difficult.....hardest thing on most of these trails is SAND, sometimes deep.....if your 200 can handle that, I'm sure you'll be fine....come on out...
