Oracle 195 Posted January 12, 2019 Let's not forget Andrew Short took 5th today and Skyler Howes (a privateer) took 9th in stage 5. GO USA. If you guys are on FB, we have a page set up called Rally racing fans and fanatics. Several SDAR members frequent it.

robertaccio 405 Posted January 15, 2019 In moto oddly enough there is another Brabec (CZE) and even a Brabeck (AUT) still in the race. The top 3 are within 1 min 15 sec of each other......top 10 within 15 minutes of each other. This is close racing over long ranges.

97xr400r 122 Posted January 24, 2019 I've been to busy at work to follow the event this year. Some highlights are starting to appear... Price rode for days and won on a broken wrist, WOW. The amount of suffering required to even FINISH this race is unbelievable. The candid videos of competitors breaking down mentally, crashing etc, getting back up and trudging onward is inspirational. Pablo was pushing so hard to keep the lead 😥 Dunes intimidate for a reason... https://exhaust.racerxonline.com/2019/01/17/sweet-baby-jesus-this-is-why-pablo-quintanilla-lost-nearly-20-minutes-at-dakar
