Van 35 Posted November 5, 2018 While traveling in Peru, I could not help checking out the local rides. Almost all were in the 125 to 200 cc range with very few any larger. Bigger the cities, bigger the bore. Smaller bikes had carburetors and appeared to function well between 10,000 ft to 15,000 ft elevation. Rare to see a two-stroke. Lots of Chinese and Korean machines with the regular Japanese hardware (Honda/Yamaha). Names like Mavila (Korean, now made in Mexico), Ronco, Wanxin (Honda CT 70 clone?), Bajaj, Ssenda, Lifan and Futong to name a few. Stuff I've never heard of before. The MotoKab taxis were very popular in smaller towns. Van
