Riggerdan 147 Posted October 15, 2018 Great ride in South East County Thanks to all that showed up, unfortunately we peaked out a little early on Otay & Tecate. Really had to use our imaginations up there staring blindly into the clouds, the sun came out eventually made for a nice well rounded day. Great group, good pace Not many pics on my end Finished with a cold beverage and burger at Brodies in Jamul Looking forward to more exploration Thanks again

Dress4Less 162 Posted October 15, 2018 Nice pics Rigger ...I really dig that tunnel pic (pun intended) ...looks like a great "mix" of bikes!

Wierdrider 187 Posted October 15, 2018 I was only able to make a portion of this ride. DAMNIT JIM! This first part of this ride was the same route as my first SDAR ride with Riggerdan leading as well. Unfortunately I had to bail after the top of Otay. 😢 Let’s do it again! Thanks for putting this one together Dan👍👍
Oracle 195 Posted October 16, 2018 Didn't there used to be a fence across the middle of the tunnel??
Uncle Champ 115 Posted October 16, 2018 There is welded railroad track steel welded across as a gate. Bummer I used to go to Tecate that way, sketchy but fun. Not illegal as long as you come back through a port of entry.
Riggerdan 147 Posted October 16, 2018 I was hesitant to walk all the way through as much as I wanted, the day was going too smooth to have any problems but next time, I'm going to tecate
