Out and back to Johnson Valley

Took a quick day trip out to Johnson Valley with my son and a good buddy today to get a feel for the orange bike.  Taillight decided to unscrew itself and it hit the tire a half dozen times before I figured out what the noise was.  Stock tires suck and will need to be changed.  Something has to be done about that reed valve setup; must have stalled a couple of dozen times!  Couldn't pull a few loose rock hill climbs (pretty sure tires will cure that) and did not feel real confident in the sand (again, pretty sure new shoes will correct).

Temps were mid 70's which was nice, but blowing like crazy.  Did not see another soul once outside of camp.

Thought the rear view mirror shot with the cool temps and scooter in the background told a nice tale of what is coming-desert season!
