Bagstr 287 Posted August 29, 2018 Looking forward to when I want something in addition to the Austrian Weapon ,,,, Making a choice between the Backroad Express and the Riot would be hard to make - What's your take?? VS Seriously,,, One is flash and power while the other is easy to pick up off the deck and haul in the truck. I have friends who are aging and they are concerned about things like weight. Imagine having a commanding presence as you physically dominate your two wheeler. Thinking back to my 990, it was a big question as to who was dominating whom. So, be honest, which moto would you prefer?? Bagstr - Just wasting time

SoCalMule 106 Posted August 29, 2018 First bike I ever road was a Honda (step-thru) trail 55. I was six! So much fun! Then move to the Honda CT-70 Mini Trail; even more fun! I love the Mini Trails!
KTMrad 508 Posted August 31, 2018 Bigger, more power is always better ! (unless all you do is ride singletrack). I'm almost 60 years young and still prefer the big bikes. Just my opinion.
Riggerdan 147 Posted August 31, 2018 Kinda like buying a computer back in the day..... Just need to be honest with yourself. Whats this machine going to be used for? Single track, grocery shopping, exploring endless miles of vast terrain, looking cool at the beach, keeping up with the Bowers....we all have our own reasons !! Personally I don't know how much time, energy, strength and desire I have left... though ignorance is bliss The 1090R hands down is a truly amazing bike - way more capable of achieving results I will never know. Don't really care for naps while I ride on any bike, find them really inconvenient, potentially expensive and nobody likes to get hurt Having a quiver is always the answer to these questions (I think) if thats not an option, there comes the honest question again. Riding with bags in the dez I choose the 500 Getting lost in the forest for a few weeks it's the 1090 Riding Jamulian single track it's the 300 B - always welcome to borrow the big boy if you want to get away for a few days or help make that decision
