Wheel lacing

Recommended Posts

I bought a bike this week with a crushed front wheel. I know I could just buy a rim and spokes and do it myself but I have too much else going on so I’m looking for suggestions on where to get this done.

I followed this guy home last night with a side x side tire strapped to his Yamaha, he could probably do it?

That was a cast rim, I'm no good at spoked wheels.

  CID,

Laura at Grove Motorcycle has tuned up a few of my spoked wheels over the years.  Not exactly convenient for you in El Cajon.

Try Hootie at Mad Racing in Vista. You know Hootie, right?

Thanks for the info guys. I’ll give a couple a call to check out prices then decide whether I want to send it out or attempt it myself.

Well after spending a couple hours working on the wheel without much success I’m going to drop it off at NCY tomorrow. I think I could do it fairly easy on my KTM wheels and hubs, but the old Honda is a different story.
