Old School

Recommended Posts

Just thought I would share one of my old unrestored time capsule and latest build race bike. The old is a 1970 Super Rat 100cc and the new is a custom 1974 Super Combat 125cc. I just took third in a bike show and I took first at the CZ World Championship in the Harry Taylor Cup 125 Intermediate Class. The guy leading me over the jump is the legend Jim Stein, he was the first American signed to a European contract to race in Europe

Having lusted over these bikes as a kid on a honda 50 . . . . . I think this is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. Who wouldn't want a bike called a Super Rat! or Wombat! or,... or..

Nice going Kelly!

Man, when I was a kid, I drooled over my friend's Hoda-Cracker 125!

I will have a 125 Combat Wombat for sale in a few weeks. I just sold that Chrome Tank Super Rat.

The Super Rat is the one that gives me the tingles.  Not that I'm ready to put one in my garage.  It's just thrilling to see one.

The Super Rat is the most desirable Hodaka for anyone’s collection, it’s hard to find them complete. Straight fenders and gas tank is getting real hard, then a good no rusted pipe and seat pan followed be the chain guard. Besides these parts everything else you can find. Last Las Vegas auction a restored one sold for $8000
