I think I'll stick with my too big of a tent solution.........what small sleeping bag do you pack for ~20 degree rating?

I’ve never had any issues with rain but have never been in a real downpour just medium rain. I’ve got lots of bags but they are all 650 down and don’t pack very small for the small bikes. I’m probably going to get this bag for future rides. I like the pad sleeve system of the Big Agnus bags because I tend to roll around at night and fall off pads with other designs. https://www.backcountry.com/big-agnes-blackburn-ul-sleeping-bag-0-degree-down I know it’s expensive, but you really do get what you pay for with camping equipment. I also think going with a 0 degree bag is the way to go. You can always unzip if it’s warm but it’s harder to make a bag warmer. CiD

CiD My other two bags are "Fat Boy" Big Agnus bags with the 25" Fat Boy insert (as opposed to 22")...... I'm too cheap for the option above......so I'll probably continue to use what I've got........and continue to bitch about it.......everything is a compromise.......but at the end of the day I guess I'd rather compromise on size/weight than comfort.....besides, I don't camp too often........once I retire and take off on multi-week trips I may decide to go big $$/small/light/tight gear....... tntmo 887 Posted November 10, 2017 For those who like to save money (who doesn't??) keep an eye out for the REI sidewalk sale. We got about six awesome tents for decent prices several years ago, went camping a few times with each of them and then picked our favorites and sold the rest to friends for the price we paid plus a beer surcharge. Everyone was a winner, but I won most because I got beer.
