Anybody have a Buell XB Moto?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if any of you own/owned a Buell? I'm getting an itch and thought some of you might have some insight. Anybody care to chat about their bike over a free beer?

Thanks Randy. I pulled the trigger, 07 XB12S. It's a huge change from what I have had in the past... What a weirdo moto! I'm sort of enamored with it at the moment. Turns out your XR1200 is mostly the same engine!

There is a cheap rat rod of a specimen on Craigslist at the moment  https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/mcy/d/2003- buell-lightning-xbr9/6343653762.html

Do you know anybody that could help me out with a TPS reset? I have the cable coming next week and will be getting ecm spy, cool stuff.

BAROMBAaa!

You could call SDBMW, they used to sell them, but don't know if they will work on it.

I've done similar stuff on my Husky and Triumph, I'm more than willing to come drink your beer and watch you if you think that would be helpful?

I'll be at keyesville Sunday night if you're still around Kernville. Keyesville is a blm area on the West side of the lake just a couple miles north of 178 on 155.

Thanks for the invite! I got a late start and only made it to Hesperia. I've been meaning to check the area out for DSing around... looks like a great place. Found a spot to throw down the tarp for the night and not far from good breakfast.
