Jake has been very successful in the lower levels (from Wikipedia): 2008- 4th, Red Bull AMA Rookies Cup #32 KTM FRR 125 2009- 6th, Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup #32 KTM FRR 125 2010- 1st, Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup #32 KTM FRR 125 2011- 17th, CEV Moto2 Championship #32 PromoHarris 2012- 11th, AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Championship #132 Yamaha YZF-R6 2013- 2nd, AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Championship #32 Yamaha YZF-R6 2014- 1st, AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Championship #32 Yamaha YZF-R6 2015- 1st, MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 Championship #32 Yamaha YZF-R1 2016- 10th, MotoAmerica Superbike Championship #32 Yamaha YZF-R1 **2017- MotoAmerica Superbike Championship #32 Honda CBR1000RR **Jake transferred to World Superbike series this year due to the vacancy left by the passing of Nicky Hayden Next we have my buddies grandson Travis Petton IV also born and raised in Ramona Travis is a 4th generation flat tracker and has 8 track championships in Socal starting in 2009 at age 4. This 12 year old just got back from the AMA Amateur Nationals in DuQuoin Illinois where he was crowned the AMA Amateur 250 DTX National champ #1 plate holder. In addition Travis just picked up help from Yamaha under their bLU cRU program.
