alyeska 50 Posted March 26, 2017 Meet at circle in Borrego springs Thursday 3-30 at 0900 KSU at 0930 head towards airport and then off road towards the pumpkin patch crossing into tule wash and then onto the edge of the salton sea. Lunch at salton city then explore from there. Possible ride into the old naval base depending on time. Plated bike required for this ride, if anyone needs to park a vehicle at my place in Borrego let me know ahead of time. Ride will be all day ending near sunset. overnight camping at my place available if needed. This is a moderate ride but not very big bike friendly because of sandy washes and possible soft spots near the salton sea, also if we go into old naval base we will be crossing a mile of sand dunes.
