Recommended Posts

CID (Chris) and bsham (Brian) joined me for a little 350 mile scoot to the river . Brian rode from Ramona all the way . HE IS THE MAN  !

We met at the O Wells ranger station . Threw Anza Borrego to a quick stop at Truckhaven to visit the NCY crew at the Safari.

We slabed it to Meca for lunch then hit the Bradshaw. Took a bonus loop to Augustine Pass

Met Kug and CiD in OW. Had a really cool 2 day ride to the river and back.

Saw a Jeep or two near Truckhaven...

Bikes got thirsty...

This is where the real fun started. Kinda crowded the first couple of miles.

Trailhead(1024x768).jpg

Only saw a couple of peeps past the trestle...

Lots of this...

Bradshaw(1024x768).jpg

Some of this...

... and a good bit of this...

Road(1024x768).jpg

... followed by a good night's sleep at the river ...

camp(1024x768).jpg

... and a quick trip back Sunday ...

For me:

Close to 500 miles - longest two day ride to date

First moto camp

First ride across the state line (I know, need to get out more!)

Really good rain the last 30 miles to home... first time getting really soaked on a bike.

Can't forget the sand storm returning to OW that ruined my face shield!

I enjoyed riding with Kug and CiD!  Looking forward to more long rides and moto camping!

Nice trip, except for the wind and rain.

Guess that's what makes it an adventure.

Great outing fellas, Hope to join you next time.  The bikes looked pretty light, even though it looks like you all had big tents, and sleeping bags, pillows, cooking gear, rain gear, etc....  If those were Coyote saddle bags,  and a mosko,  must have been big enough.  Cheers.

Very cool.  You can't go wrong with a ride comprised of Camping in Dust and The Kug.
