Is Camacho's still open? I was there last season and they were talking about retiring and that the kids didn't want to take it over. Love that place!

Beezzz and I looked at the forecast and Rolled the Dice.  Fog and mist on the way down, made the brightness of the Dez seem like a winner!  Brian suggested we go somewhere we have never been.  Well, that is tall order, so we chose place we rarely explore.  The limits of Tapiado, Arroyo Seco de Diablo and Sandstone Canyon.  We parked the bikes at several points a walked up-stream to visit the less explored tops of the canyons. When we started hopping the granite boulders or a stake in the ground, that was a parking place.

Windless at the start, but a intermitent 25-30 miles in the PM.

Brian,  Thanks for the commitment and banter

North East Borrego (S22) I guess Jan 5th. Don't know the area that well yet.

I had been camping, hiking, taking pictures and riding down there since the 2nd. I left Borrego Springs for home about Noon on the 5th and the wind made towing the trailer home an exercise of patience and focus. I was happy to get up S2  past the rain line as the wind calmed a bit there. Looking forward to going back soon.and doing more of the same.

We  Need more " So Funny "  weather to clean-up the Monster Mash done to the trails over the holidays by the 4-Wheelers.

You know the Dez is a Hoot no matter the condition.
