Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled

Recommended Posts

Won't be trading in my KTM for one and I don't really get the niche it tries to fill...but they are kind of cool looking.  Just revealed this week.

Well, the niche they are trying to fill is the Scrambler market, which is very popular right now. I'm guessing most people that actually own Scramblers don't actually take them off road. Kinda like BMW GS1200R riders....:heh:

BTW, I do like them and wouldn't mind having one. There are just other bikes I'd like to put in the garage before a Scrambler. But you should buy one.

It's a cool looking bike that would be a decent commuter or weekend canyon carver as well as a play bike for the (non single track) dirt.  I could see owning one, but it wouldn't be the only bike I'd own.

The stock street version for comparison...different swingarm, beefed up frame, spoked wheels, different exhaust, skid plate, different bars, front fender, and different front and rear suspension.  Pretty different.
